DISCUSSION for 2 Cor 6–11

2 Corinthians 6:14 & 15 says, “Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or, what fellowship can light have with darkness? What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? What does a believer have in common with an unbeliever?”

Q: What is a yoke? How is unequal yoking an apt metaphor in this context?

Q: From verses 16-18, what is necessary if we want to have God as our Father? What does this imply about choosing a spouse? About where we should look for dates and close friends?

Assignment: The student will submit one page (250 word minimum) to the instructor by the due date. Format will be either printed or digital (attached to an email).
